Most garage floors just sit there - cracked, dusty, and taking abuse with nothing to show for it. When a floor is seeing real daily use, a basic paint job isn't going to cut it. This one needed something built to actually last.

We went with a solid gray epoxy base coat across the full floor, then tied everything together with flaked stem walls along the perimeter. That detail makes a big difference. Instead of an awkward line where the floor meets the wall, the flake blend creates a clean, finished transition that looks intentional - because it is.

On top of the epoxy base, we applied a high-wear urethane topcoat. That's the layer that takes the real punishment. Tires, foot traffic, dropped tools, chemical spills - a urethane topcoat handles all of it without breaking down. It also gives the floor that deep, glossy reflection you can see wall to wall. It's not just for looks. That sheen tells you the surface is sealed tight.

What we ended up with here is a garage that actually functions like a finished space. Clean, bright, and protected. The gray keeps things neutral and sharp without showing every scuff, and the stem walls give the whole room a cohesive, polished look that sets it apart from a standard floor job.
