This space already had a cool setup going - reclaimed wood walls, a built-in bar, the works. What it needed was a floor that could actually keep up. That's where we came in.
We went with a full flake floor system starting with a 100% solids epoxy base. That matters more than most people realize. A 100% solids formula means no water or solvents - what goes down stays down. Zero shrinkage, maximum bond. We then broadcast Armadillo hybrid flake across the entire floor and locked everything in with two coats of polyaspartic topcoat. That double-coat finish is what gives it that deep, glossy shine you're seeing wall to wall.
The bar top got its own treatment. We semi-polished the concrete surface and sealed it to match the overall aesthetic of the space. Same clean, protected look - just a different process to get there. It ties the whole room together without looking like an afterthought.
Polyaspartic is worth talking about for a second. It's UV-stable, chemical-resistant, and significantly harder than standard epoxy topcoats. That means no yellowing, no hot-tire pickup, and a surface that can handle real use. A garage bar setup like this sees foot traffic, spills, and everything in between - the coating needs to be built for it.
The end result is a garage that actually functions like a hangout space without sacrificing durability. Clean, tough, and built to hold up for years without looking worn out. That's what a proper flake floor system does when it's installed right.
