Most homeowners don't think much about their front porch floor - until it starts looking rough. Bare concrete stains, gets slippery, and honestly just doesn't do the rest of the home's curb appeal any favors. That's the problem we solve with our flake floor systems.

For this front entry, we went with our 'Coyote' flake blend. It's a cool-toned mix of white, grey, and black flakes that gives the surface a lot of visual depth without being loud. Up close, the texture is really something - tight, consistent coverage across the entire slab with a sealed polyaspartic top coat locking everything in.

Here's what actually goes into a job like this. We start with a moisture vapor barrier to protect the coating from underneath - this is a step a lot of guys skip, and it's why you see coatings peel and bubble down the road. Then comes a polyaspartic base coat, the full broadcast of flake, and a polyaspartic top coat to seal it all up. Polyaspartic is specifically designed for exterior exposure - it handles UV, foot traffic, and temperature swings without fading or breaking down.

The result is a surface that's tough enough for real outdoor conditions and clean enough to make the whole entry feel intentional. Against the red brick and white trim on this home, the Coyote blend ties everything together really well. Durable and sharp at the same time.
