This one covered a lot of ground - literally. We installed a full Creekbed flake floor system across a 2-stall garage, a sunroom corridor, and every step leading between them. That means one consistent look tying the whole space together, from wall to wall.

Here's what the system actually consists of: a moisture vapor barrier goes down first to protect against anything coming up through the concrete. Then comes the epoxy base coat, the Creekbed flake broadcast, and finally a polyaspartic topcoat to lock everything in. That topcoat is what gives it the durability to handle vehicle traffic, foot traffic, spills, and daily wear without breaking down.

We didn't stop at the main floor either. The steps got the full flake treatment, and we wrapped the 8-inch stem wall to give it a finished edge rather than leaving raw concrete exposed at the base. It's a detail that makes a big difference in how the whole space reads when you walk through it.

A lot of people skip the stem wall or the steps because it's extra work. We include it because doing half a job isn't really our thing. When the coating runs continuously from the floor up the wall base and across every step, the space just looks intentional - like it was built that way from the start.

The Creekbed color is one of our most popular flake blends. It's a neutral gray-and-tan mix that works well in spaces that see a lot of light and activity. Easy to clean, hides everyday dirt well, and holds up for the long haul.
