Most garage floors are an afterthought. Bare concrete that stains, dusts, and looks rough no matter how clean you keep everything else. This 2-stall garage is a good example of what changes when you stop treating the floor like a throwaway surface.

Here's what went into it - an epoxy base coat laid down first to seal and bond directly to the concrete, followed by a full broadcast of Domino color blend flake. That flake layer is what gives the floor its character. The black, white, and gray tones work together in a way that looks sharp without being loud. After that, a polyaspartic topcoat goes on to lock everything in. That topcoat is what separates a floor that looks good from one that actually holds up.

The stem walls got the same treatment. That's a detail a lot of people overlook, but it makes a real difference in the finished look. When the floor coating wraps up the wall, the whole space ties together instead of feeling half-done. It's one of those things you notice but can't always name.

What you end up with is a floor system that resists oil, chemicals, abrasion, and the kind of daily punishment a garage takes. Polyaspartic topcoats cure faster and handle UV exposure better than standard epoxy alone - so the color stays true and the surface stays tough over time. It's a floor built to actually last, not just look good on day one.

A flake floor system like this is one of the better investments you can make in a garage space. It's functional, it's durable, and it genuinely changes how the space feels to work in.
